Monitoring and Alerting

Log data is full of opportunities to proactively monitor systems. Seq has a number of features to help you take advantage of this:

• Events matching a signal, for example, "Errors", can be sent directly to a Seq App that integrates with email or a notification system
• Dashboards provide a beautiful and functional way to track what's going on in a system, whether interactively, or on an overhead display
• Alerts are thresholds set on dashboard charts, and send notifications through Seq Apps when a threshold is breached
• Health Checks probe an HTTP or HTTPs endpoint periodically, and write results into the event stream for alerting and analysis
